Description

Warabi mochi is a soft, melt-in-the-mouth traditional Japanese pastry made from fern root. It is commonly eaten with kinako (soy powder) and brown sugar syrup.

In this version, Uji matcha is added to the warabi mochi and kinako. The rich, flavorful matcha blends perfectly with the sweetness of the warabi mochi!

The town of Uji, famous for its matcha production, is also known for the Byodo-in Phoenix Hall temple, a World Heritage Site. This emblematic building is even depicted on the Japanese 10-yen coin.
